I am an associate professor at the University of Amsterdam, at the methods and statistics group of the research institute of child development and education. I obtained my PhD (2013) from the University of Amsterdam on research about testing measurement invariance in multilevel data. After obtaning my PhD, I became a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University. In 2014, I received a Rubicon-grant from NWO (Dutch Research Council), to work with dr. M.W.-L. Cheung at the National University of Singapore. In 2016, I returned to the Univsersity of Amsterdam after obtaining a Veni-grant (250.000 euros) from NWO for the project: "One size fits all? New methods to account for heterogeneity in meta-analytic structural equation modeling". From 2021 to 2026 I will be working on the further development of MASEM, based on a Vidi-grant (800.000 euros) with the title "No data left behind".
